Attention Glass Recyclers

The city of Little Rock has recently entered into a new agreement with Waste Management to reintroduce glass into the single stream recycling program for homes in Little Rock, North Little Rock and Sherwood. With this update, please note that Epic Glass Recycling will discontinue curbside collection as of the week ending May 31, 2024.

This is a great opportunity for the city of Little Rock to push sustainability and we’re glad to work alongside them as we facilitate glass recycling in the area. The more cities, organizations, and people who push glass recycling, the better!

At Epic Glass Recycling, we recognize that many residents in apartments and other non-curbside locations will still rely on drop-off sites for recycling. We will maintain collection services at many drop-off locations and local restaurants. Thank you for your continued support over the past five years!

Q: When does curbside collection transition from EPIC Glass Recycling to Waste Management?
A: Immediately, Waste Management can process glass now.

Q: What do I do with my EPIC Glass Recycling collection bin?
A: We’d like to get them back. We’ll be picking them up this week. Please put them out on your usual collection day.

Q: What do I do if I’m owed a refund from EPIC Glass Recycling?
A: Once the program is completely shut down June 1, we will reach out and refund all customers who have time left on their contract.

Q: How can I support glass recycling in Arkansas?
A: Keep recycling glass yourself and encourage your family, friends and neighbors to do the right thing too! Our drop-off sites are still active!
